Vethellas A.E.B.E. is a company of exclusively Greek interests based in Larissa. With 40 years of experience in the field of veterinary medicines, the company is characterized by a strong international presence and high export activity.

With well-chosen business moves, the veterinary products trading company "AGGELOS KACHRIMANIDIS & SIA E.E.-VETHELLAS" resulted in the creation of Vethellas A.E.B.E., a pioneer in the production of veterinary medicines. Investment in research and innovation and the constant monitoring of scientific developments and market trends are key axes of the company's development strategy, strengthening its solvency and competitiveness at an international level.

 
 

Our facilities

The facilities of Vethellas A.E.B.E. are located in the Industrial Area of Larissa and have been designed and constructed based on the strictest specifications of European and national pharmaceutical legislation, providing:

  • Approval number from the Ministry of Rural Development – Department of Animal Feed, as a manufacturer and intermediary in the animal feed sector.
  • Pharmaceutical Production License (National Medicines Organization).
  • European Certificate of Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (EU-GMP). (Link)

Vethellas recently proceeded with the construction of a new 500 sq m building exclusively for the needs of Quality Control, providing state-of-the-art equipment for conducting Chemical and Microbiological analyses of all our products.

At VETHELLAS A.E.B.E., the Research and Development (R&D) Department plays a crucial role in the design, innovation and production of specialized veterinary products for animal health.

  • Research & Development is a strategic priority for us, with a continuous search for scientific alternatives that ensure higher satisfaction for our customers.
  • Based on science and technology, we develop solutions that meet the modern needs of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.
  • Support to the R&D Department, from the company's Quality Control Laboratory, for conducting chemical analyses.
  • External collaborators of various specialties (veterinarians, animal technicians, chemists, biochemists) from Greece and abroad collaborate closely with the R&D department, taking into account the latest scientific data in the field of veterinary medicine.
