The 5th Vethellas Symposium, dedicated to modern challenges and solutions in aquaculture, was successfully completed on June 27, 2025. The event marked an important milestone for our company, as Vethellas will celebrate its 40th anniversary of innovation and progress in the field of veterinary pharmaceuticals next year.
The Symposium centered on the presentation of PRAZIVETIN®, Vethellas’ new innovative pharmaceutical product, which provides an effective and safe solution for the treatment of parasitic infections in fish.
The key highlights of the Symposium included the presentation of research findings on the pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and safety of PRAZIVETIN® in gilthead seabream. In addition, discussions covered the environmental risk assessment and clinical efficacy results of the product, underscoring its pivotal role in addressing sparicotylosis.
