COMPOSITION: Each g Mulivet wsp, contains as active ingredient 450mg Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate, while as excipient lactose monohydrate.
PHARMACEUTICAL FORM: Water soluble powder for oral administration.
PROPERTIES:
Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate is a semi-synthetic antibiotic belonging to the group of pleuromutilins which act as inhibitors in the beginning of protein synthesis at the bacterial ribosome level. Tiamulin acts against a wide range of bacteria including those responsible for enteric and respiratory diseases in swine and broilers.
INDICATIONS:
MULIVET is indicated for the treatment of swine dysentery, pleuropneumonia and mycoplasmosis, as well as for the treatment of poultry (chicken, turkeys) mycoplasma infections.
CONTRA INDICATIONS:
The product should not be used to pregnant sows during the first half of pregnancy, to boars or laying hens. Not to be used in cases with known hypersensitivity to the product’s ingredients as well as in animals with serious kidney and liver deficiency. MULIVET should not be used at the same time with some ionophore antibiotics such as monensin, narasin, maduramycin and salinomycin and for 7 days before and after the therapy with MULIVET.
UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS:
There have not been reported any undesirable effects to pigs and poultry that received MULIVET according to the recommended dose. In case of allergic reaction, the treatment should be interrupted and antihistamines should be administered. In rare occasions, during treatment, skin erythema and swelling may occur in swine. These symptoms disappear after completion of the therapy without any special treatment.

STORAGE-SHELF LIFE:
The original package should be stored well sealed in dry, dark place, at a temperature below 25° C. Under these conditions, it remains stable for 3 years after the production date.

2. Paper sacks with inner polyethylene (PE) lining, 5 kg.
