COMPOSITION: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 100% w/w.

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM: Premix for medicated feed.

PROPERTIES:
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is a member of the tetracycline family, which belongs to the antimicrobials. These are bacteriostatic antibiotics with a broad spectrum of activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Like all tetracyclines, oxytetracycline acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

INDICATIONS:
Indicated for the treatment and control of furunculosis caused by Aeromonas salmonicida in Atlantic Salmon, pasteurellosis in Sea Bass caused by Photobacterium damsela, and vibriosis in Sea Bass caused by Listonella anguillarum and various Vibrio species, always administered after conducting an antibiogram to confirm the sensitivity of the isolated pathogens to the active substance.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer in cases of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
None known.

DOSAGE:
Atlantic Salmon: The recommended daily dose is 75 mg of oxytetracycline hydrochloride per kg of fish body weight. A 10-day treatment is recommended. 
Sea Bass: The recommended daily dose is 75 mg of oxytetracycline hydrochloride per kg of fish body weight. A 7-day treatment is recommended.

STABILITY:
The product should be stored in its original tightly sealed packaging, in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. The product remains stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture in its original packaging. After first opening of the primary packaging, the product remains stable for 3 months. When incorporated into feed, the product remains stable for 3 months from the date the fish feed is manufactured.

-Polyethylene (PE) bag: 100 g, 1000 g, 2000 g.                                                                   
-Multi-layer paper sacks with inner polyethylene bag 25 kg.
